Life begins at 55!
Phoenix PR’s recent launch of a pioneering new retirement village for the over 55s at Hedon in East Yorkshire has been a tremendous success, resulting in a substantial increase in inquiries and sales.
Working for the HICA Group, Phoenix have helped to put the Holderness Grange Retirement Village firmly on the map by gaining extensive local, regional and national media coverage.
Armed with a detailed and clear brief from our client, we drew up a list of key PR messages and identified a diverse range of press release subjects to get those messages over to potential property purchasers.
We produced press packs, newsletters, press releases and advertising copy, and set up and attended press visits. As a result of our PR, awareness of Holderness Grange has spread throughout the country and visitor numbers have swelled, with sales growing accordingly. |

Tackling the scourge of graffiti With the cost of graffiti removal estimated to be anything from £200 million to £1 billion a year in the UK, a Leeds company is planning to take the market by storm with the launch of a unique system to protect any surface – and Phoenix Public Relations have been appointed to promote it.
Based on the success of previous work carried out for the owners of Si Laboratories, Phoenix Public Relations have been appointed to spread the message about Graffiti Shield, a product that is unique because it only has to be applied once to provide a permanent protective coating against graffiti, and being a non-toxic product it is environmentally safe.
There has been a tremendous response to our initial media relations campaign, particularly from local authorities who are keen to maximise the cost savings it will bring, and the first major contracts are expected to be announced shortly.
Phoenix have now been asked by Si Laboratories to help promote a second revolutionary product – this time to tackle chewing gum deposits. So watch this space! |

Magazine production: in the UK and overseas Phoenix Public Relations can produce newsletters and magazines both throughout the UK and overseas. For example, we launched a magazine for the workforce at Kimberly-Clark's Jaromer plant in the Czech Republic. The magazine had to be produced in Czech and English versions to cater for the multi-national workforce on site at Jaromer.
Working via e-mail, we sourced all editorial and photographs and then provided a layout and design in English. Once this was approved, we worked with an associate translator to produce a Czech version, utilising the same photographs and layout as used in the English version.
Phoenix Public Relations also produce a twice-yearly employee magazine for Kimberly-Clark’s Barton nappy plant in North Lincolnshire. |
