It’s a dog’s life for Phoenix! Phoenix Public Relations has been appointed by the Kingston Veterinary Group to promote the new facilities and services being offered by the Group. Brian Holcroft, Managing Partner of Phoenix Public Relations, said: “We are delighted to have been appointed by the Kingston Veterinary Group, who are one of Hull’s longest established vets. They have just opened what is set to be the city’s first fully accredited veterinary hospital at their Park Street headquarters and they are also planning to open new surgeries during the year.” Kingston Veterinary Group Director Paul Atkinson said: “We are passionate about our work and proud of our new facilities, so it’s the ideal time to bring in Phoenix Public Relations to spread the word about what we can now offer.” The Kingston Veterinary Group PR account is the latest in a series of account gains for Phoenix, which this year is celebrating its 20th year in business. As well as carrying out media relations work, we also produce over 30 issues of newsletters and magazines for our clients each year. Phoenix handles Seafish Humberside office opening Organising a special event requires a number of attributes – particularly a strong attention to detail and the ability to be flexible to accommodate tight deadlines and changing circumstances.
Phoenix Public Relations brought all these strengths to the fore recently when we organised the official opening of the Seafish Industry Authority’s new Humberside offices in Grimsby.
From handling the invitations through to producing the plaque, display stands and posters, organising the photography, and laying on a champagne reception and three course dinner, we made sure the event ran smoothly.
James Wood, Head of Communications at Seafish, said: “We are delighted with the work carried out by the team at Phoenix Public Relations – they certainly helped to ensure it was an evening to remember.” |

Phoenix working on second retirement village Our successful PR launch of the Holderness Grange Retirement Village at Hedon in East Yorkshire led to Phoenix Public Relations being appointed to handle PR for a second retirement development – the £45 million Buckshaw Retirement Village at Chorley in Lancashire.
Working for Oakbridge Retirement Villages LLP – a joint venture between the HICA Group and the Caddick Group – we have gained widespread awareness of the development by carrying out an extensive PR campaign directed at all sectors of the media.
